you would have to ask your doctor about that. if you’re healthy you really won’t need to go on maternity leave until i’m assuming a certain point. but definitely talk to your doctor

my first son I was at school and the doctors office called and said I had protein in my urine and I needed to come to the hospital to be induced. I finished my class, went home- napped, showered and packed. I showed up at the hospital hours later lol

It depends on your employer and your health. With my first I worked til 39 weeks and with my second until 38.5 weeks. Save the time off for when baby is born.
