If you’re wanting to be exact, then white wine and red wine glasses are typically different. But if that doesn’t bother you, then no biggie!
If you’re just starting out, then by the reds you’ll see “blends” or “table bends” labeled in the wine aisle at the grocery store. Those will be sweeter. Same with moscatos. Rosés will also be lighter.

I recommend Riesling or Piesporter if you like sweeter (they are both white wines). Moscato is pretty good too, and some Chardonnays.

Chateau Grand Traverse Riesling is my favorite inexpensive Riesling.
