Serious question mom to mom... do you ever just look in the mirror & think to yourself, "why dont I look cute"?! Like I dont know what it is but I just feel so unattractive, like no matter what I do rather I put on make up, do my hair or wear something cute, I'm just like "eh whatever"... I dont really like the way I look anymore. Maybe its because I'm a mom now & my body has changed & I'm just getting older but it's actually kinda sad lol. I need to get out of this mood. My husband gives me the attention as if I'm the sexiest woman alive (as he should lol) but I, myself dont feel that about myself.
Over time, as our bodies experience pregnancy and aging, our minds are groomed (via biofeedback courtesy of physical and psychological changed within the chemicals in our brain) to notice small changes to our physical appearance. Pregnancy changes the permanent shape of our noses, feet size and shape/size of our lips. Society changes and programs the way we think. Example, just because we're Mom's, we're no longer allowed to be sexy or desirable without having a label bestowed upon us. It's our jobs as women to find the happy medium or to find us again. Only you can do this. It's a mental block. You're a beautiful, sexy women, mother, human being. Trust me, I'm with you, I can pick out 16 flaws while never saying, I'm pretty. You have to find you. ❤️
Yeahh Been feeling this way more and more ughh.. it’s almost uncomfortable sometimes mentally
Im the same way i feel ugly in i just dont feel pretty bo more and i just dont know what to do
Wow! Sounds exactly like my situation to a T!
Yes! I think it's the new mom body you get after having kids. I've always been small with not really a stomach and after having 2 kids I went from 110 to 130 and everything else got fatter around me. I don't feel beautiful, some days I try but then I see a younger or older mom who's skinny and really pretty and I'm like welp there goes my confidence.

Same and idk what it is but after having kids all my confidence left. This past year I’ve been trying to get it back and I have good days and bad but I still just feel so unattractive. I hate my body so much and Even have days when I look in the mirror and look at my face and just look blah. I’m always comparing myself to other women. I know I’m not ugly but I feel ugly.
I feel the exact same way. It's hard for me to get in the mood sometimes cause I just wanna hide.
Yes, i will look at girls twice my size and be like, “she’s beautiful! She pulls off her look so well despite her weight.” And then I look at myself and nothing looks good on me! I feel frumpy. Also I won’t lose any weight but sometimes I look skinnier than other days... maybe bloating but I just don’t feel pretty anymore, mainly because of weight but I feel even after I lose I’ll still be unhappy.
Maybe change your hairstyle or get some new clothes. I think we all feel like this sometimes but get the negative thoughts out of your head, your kids and your man think you’re beautiful that’s allllll that matters! Also- was thinking the other day, isn’t it crazy that our sweet babies don’t even care if we get dressed or brush our teeth, they just want us and love us unconditionally.
My son always tells me that I’m ugly. That my make up is ugly , my outfit be ugly, that I am fat...& laughs at me.
🤨😩
@simply_mee awee nooo. Teach him that, that's not the right way to act/speak to a woman especially his mother!
@simply_mee, definitely don’t stand for that. Teach him to use kind words, I’d even punish for that because it’s mean and name calling. Then throughout the day randomly drill in him kind uplifting words about people. I’m sorry.
I feel this, especially since I didn't lose any weight with my first and now with my second I know I'll gain soooo much weight, especially since I'm always hungry. I'm not looking forward to the end result, but I'm happy I'm going to be a mom of two.
I literally watch no music videos or tabloid when I feel like that
Girl I feel this! My body has changed sooo much since having my son I’m just adjusting to it
Same! No longer a “hot mess” but a “room temp mess” 😂
I’ve felt this since becoming a mom. Pregnancy changes your body so much and so does time. I look in the mirror all the time and feel ugly or a mess.
I've felt this way. Social media can be so bad to people. It's alot of photoshop and face tune so it's like people will have perfect lives
i've felt like this last 2 months
Yes I have felt that way I look at myself that way but recently I would make sure that I actually start doing her makeup getting dressed pretty changing how I normally would look at myself saying I look prettier today kind of put it in my head and I felt a lot better lately I mean I still kind of looking myself like ugh but I have been trying to get in the habit to change that.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
What is your child calling their grandparents? My mom doesn't like "grandma" so I'm looking for suggestions lol
I feel like my lil nursery is gonna be nothing compared to all other ladies I've seen 😩.. I'm trying to do minnie mouse on one side of my room for her but I feel it won't look cute because we don't have money 💵 to do the fancy kind 😖.. Smh... #whyme
