They was all ready for food by that age as milk wasn't really filling them up and always cried after feeds so that's why I fed them early, they took to it and enjoyed it
my youngest won't eat his baby food he just cries so he's been on our food now for couple of weeks, he's perfectly fine I wouldn't have fed him early if I thought it would of effected him x
Niamh is just started now at almost 6 1/2 months as we had a sickness bug, but recommended 6 months before weaning because it can cause bowel problem later in life such as crohn's disease and IBS

Me too. Mine are now almost 20 yrs old and 17 yrs old and perfectly healthy. My youngest 3 I weaned at 5-6 months x

6 months :) she wasn’t ready to eat until closer to 9 months though :)

Morgan 6months. He still wasn't ready or interested until a bit later though.
Max was about 4.5 almost 5months. Just on a little baby rice/ porridge. Bit of pureed fruit & veg. Then blw from 6months.
