For those who have been induced Early .... Did you still get a membrane sweep before your induction? I'm being induced a week before my due date. I'm just wondering if I'll get my membranes swept to try and hurry things up

You can ask them. I was supposed to be induced with my last pregnancy and I requested I get my membranes stripped a few days before. They agreed to do it but before any of that happened I went into labor naturally. I hear mixed things about it working but I wanted to try anything before having to get pitocin.

I was induced with my last 2. They did multiple membrane sweeps about a week or 2 before I was actually induced. It honestly wasn't worth it and it was so painful for me. I kept letting them in hopes it would work but this time I'm definitely not doing it at all.
