Without googling. How many candles are used in the menorah over the course of Hanukkah.
All together it’s 8 plus 1 for the shamash which is the middle or tallest one

@oggirl.mom, the packages generally contain just enough candles for 1 Hanukkah. The candles are replaced each day because you don’t blow them out. They burn down and then are replaced the next day.
