Need some advice willow seems to be sick of the baby milk now she only has 4 or 5oz now and she refuse it sometime I spoke to my Hv and they say keep giving It her and not to give her juice or water yet .. just worries she not getting enough nutrients she have 3 bottle a day ..

Is she eating normal foods? If so she will be getting nutrients from that too, especially things like yoghurt, milk in porridge/wheetabix etc xx

Yeah eating normal food she loves yoghurt hate porridge but she have weetabix too xx

try not to worry then, although she may not been as keen on the bottles anymore she's still getting what she needs through her food, they love all the new flavours so get bored of the milk lol x

Why can’t you give her water? If that’s all the formula she wants that’s fine as long as she’s eating foods and drinking water

I would try her with it, water is safe for them and she needs hydration if no formula. My hv always said juice isn’t recommended for them

Water is recommended from 6 months :) we gave our little one water at 6 months with his first solid food :) as long as you're not swapping her milk bottles for water then I don't see the issue

My eldest went off formula about 9months and he loved water so I just removed it for him, as it was becoming a fight to even get him to drink an oz. He was eating balanced meals so my hv wasn’t concerned. He’s now a fussy 7 year old but still drinks only water and the odd milkshake (the straws that you stick in milk).

I give my girl water when I give her her dinners and little puddings, if she drinks at least 1 before bed or in the morning at least she is drinking some, water is fine as long as they are eating all the nutrients they need to grow x

Our baby hasn’t had baby milk in months and he’s 9 months. He drinks full fat milk, diluting juice and fresh orange. He completely refused the baby milk before 7 months but eats lots of food. U have to do what u think is best for ur baby regardless of what the professionals say
