Long rant ahead 👍🏼

I’m so flustered, my baby got her first round of shots 2 days ago. She was fine until last night when she projectile vomited and had huge bouts of diarrhea. She slept well last night, was a little needy this morning until around noon. She screamed like she was in pain, was inconsolable and refused to eat for over 6 hours. I followed all of the protocol on the vaccine papers they gave me, so after the 24 hour mark I called. The nurse told me to take her into the ER since she was inconsolable for more than 2 hours. And when I say inconsolable I mean crying until she was purple and silent, my poor baby has never ever been like this before. We get there, they take her vitals (she’s screaming the whole time) and do a quick physical exam. He asks me to try to nurse her and leaves the room. I finally get her to latch for like 5 mins after trying for a half hour. This freaking Dr. doesn’t come back for over an hour, and all he does is pop his head in the door and tell us that someone will come with our discharge papers. She had cried herself to sleep at that point. Registration comes and and let’s us go, he freaking diagnosed her with “crying baby”. And of course, as soon as we get home she’s crying like crazy again. I just pray that she’s uncomfortable from the shots and something isn’t seriously wrong.
