Hi Mom’s; So I’m Gonna Be Getting My Tubes Tide After This Pregnancy, Is There Anyone On Here That Can Give Me Some Real Information An Honest Information On There Personal Experience On The Full Process From Hospital To Going Home???
Yep. They did everything in one shot for me and I was home in a couple hours. The ablation gave me cramps like I was on my period and there’s a lot of discharge for a week or so but so worth it lol
Wow your story gets interesting to read by the day omg this is amazing stuff that I’m learning about that I never knew or heard of an I’m blessed to be able to get this type of information from you knowing it’s something you have experienced yourself an now that way I know what my options are gonna be I’ve completely made my mind up already but just hearing your experience just made this breathe taking for me in a good way because I never knew it was a way to be able to stop our cycles an now that ik I have that option I will most definitely be bringing this to my doctors attention, then it’s been 2 years since you’ve had a cycle too yes this is a must I want mines gone completely also because this will help me out so much. An it is possible to do it on the same day that I get my tubes removed right?? Or no??
Ablation is they basically stuck a little rod into my uterus and sent electronic waves through it to kill the lining. I had heavy periods and since they removed my tubes I couldn’t get pregnant anymore so my dr felt it was a good option to stop my periods as well. You can’t build up lining so there is nothing to shed. I had the removal and ablation in June of 2017 and I spotted once for about 3 mins since then. It’s been completely awesome!
What’s a ablation is that when you where saying when you got your tubes removed?? An can you tell me how long has it been since you got them removed and still no cycle at all?? An I just wanna say I really do wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for answering all my questions an being so patient with doing so means so much an it’s ok I totally understand how it is myself too hasn’t been on here for two days because my 4 year old broke my charger an I’m just getting around to get a new one after being without my phone for 2 day’s so I too apologize for the late reply I hope you an the little ones get well soon because I know how tough it is with everyone being sick all at once it’s literally no fun an most definitely not a joke so just take your time replying back an take care of yourself an the kids an get well fast 💨 ✨✨💜
If I slept flat then it was a bit of a struggle to get myself upright but the pain was never in the horrible category. I think a lot of random pain was forgetting that I had it done and moving to fast. Just take it easy on yourself. The hospital did give me plenty of pain pills but neither time did I feel a need for anything that heavy after the first couple days. On another side note, stool softener and a lot of water! The pain pills and the meds from surgery will constipate you horribly and to be honest, trying to use the bathroom was miserable the first go round 😣 I’m not to sure about bending, I worked for ups for 11 years so it’s just natural for me to squat to pick things up off the floor. When it reopened I just dealt with it myself, slapped a bandaid over it and took it easy for a couple days lol.
As far as my cycle, they were a bit heavier after having them tied. When I went for the removal I had an ablation done at the same time and haven’t had a period since which had been fantastic!
I highly appreciate you for answering my questions, it really means a lot, because I have the answers I needed to be able to pull through this with faith an prayers it self. Hearing your story really gives me a lot of hope an motivation to let myself know this is not the end it’s just the beginning of a new beginning for me an my family. I have all the blessings I could ever ask for an that’s all 4 of my boys. An the heads up with the sneezing an coughing that’s a very good advice giver because going through something like that will be a big consideration to think of Incase that does happen an I appreciate you for pointing that out because I never thought of that. Yesss that was one of the things I was saying today I will have to find one of those pillows so I can have to be able to prop myself up to where I can lay comfortable I guess I will sleep on my side if I can. Now one of the questions I do have is bending is it ok to be able to bend like say if something falls down on the floor?? An how is the cycle coming along is it heavy or is it manageable. Lol ikr 5lbs is like a joke like literally my food weighs more than 5 pounds 😆 An wow no stitches omg this just amazes me even more as I read through this, if it only takes glue an tape then that shows the healing process should be that much easier 😊 right I was thinking about the bathing process too if it would burn the cuts or what the outcome of that would be but that is good news to hear that it’s not as we thought lol. When the incision reopened did you have to go to the hospital or did you deal wit it on your own?? An I’m glad you got through this with good grace. Do the ibuprofen works for the pain after the meds they put you on wear off??
Thank you for replying to give me your experience on everything don’t be afraid to give tmi because I need to hear it all an don’t need know surprises lol. But wow this is very interesting just to know you was so brave to do this an I’ve actually had a question about them being removed because I had just seen yesterday doing research they it is possible but I never got the insight on literally what to expect what’s gonna happen, how long is the recovery, the pain tolerance, if you where still able to cook an tend to daily activities with the kids an how long did it take for you to get back to normal activities, do it leave a forever scar an also how big is the cut or how many times do you get cut in the process?? I hope this isn’t over whelming questions lol I was just trying to get them as they where coming to me 😅
Ok so I’ll see if I can answer it all. When I had them tied it was about 2 hours after giving birth (no c-section) they used the epidural I already had in place. They went in through my belly button, 2 small incisions. I was in bed for not even 2 days. Had a weight limit of like 5lb lifting for a week but who were they kidding, I had a newborn lol. No stiches, just a bit of medical glue and a piece of tape. I was terrified to take a shower because I thought the water would hurt but turned out it was ok as long as I didn’t stand in direct heavy spray from the shower head. My dumbbutt decided to move furniture 4 days later which cause the incision to reopen partially but all in all everything was fine and healed in two weeks. I highly recommend getting a little travel or airline pillow, mine was like 3.00 at Walmart. When you know you’re going to cough or sneeze, hold it against your belly button while you’re healing. It pretty much takes away any pain.
When I had them removed it was back in through the belly button, and two very small incisions midway between bb and Pubic area. I was out under for that one. Healing was about the same. Both times I took pain pills for a day of two and then just stuck with ibuprofen. When they removed
My tubes they found one of the filshie
Clips they used in the original tying, and I have it and my tubes encased in resin and I use them as paperweights 😂
All In all its not a horrible experience either way. I went for full removal the second time
Because I’m no spring chicken and studies show removal lowers your chance of ovarian cancer. If you even have the slightest inkling that you may ever want more kids (swore I was done after 2, had it reversed after 7 years and had 2 more) then have them tied.
