I feel like a failure. My baby is about to be 6 months and I'm just not making enough milk as I like. Hes been breastfed this whole time but I'm becoming defeated because I dont produce enough to be able to leave him to even go and get my hair done. Really considering switching him to formula for my sanity. Am I selfish? Literally sitting here crying.
I've breast fed my daughter for six months and Im going to have to switch to formula. I noticed a decrease weeks ago and I cried too! I feel like I'm robbing her of what she likes and i hate it.
Not at all I’ve been doin it four yrs and I’m so over it some ppl do it 6 weeks so it’s your body
No you’re not selfish!!! Don’t ever feel like that you’re trying and have done nothing but your best. I breastfed my kids up till they were 3 or 4 months and switch to formula.
How did they do with the formula? Was it hard to transition them?
@andreapena26, they actually did really good, yes it was kinda hard the 1st day but after the second day they were fine
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
It's like I'm not good enough for anyone, even my son ... 💔

I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I need to vent I'm so tired of this man I swear if we were married right now I would bury his ass. So I'm trying to get dress and my son is coming off the bed mind you this house is wood floor and wood every thing in this bedroom. Well this fool I call my fiancé was watching my child come off the bed and just watch him fall back off the edge hitting his head on the hard wood floor and when I pick him up trying to calm him down. He wants to get mad at me because I won't pass him MY crying son ple...
You’re not selfish! Continue to nurse as much as you can, drink tons of water and pump in between nursing. Use formula only if after a few days you’re worried he’s not drinking enough, but give him rice cereal and start a fruit or vegetable. You care about him and that’s why you’re figuring it out!!
