Our washing machine broke last week. Hand washing clothing for 7 people is the 7th circle of hell.

I could not even begin to imagine! But it’s better than going to the laundry mat 🤢

If it wasn’t so many people it wouldn’t be a big deal to go to the laundromat!!! It’s to much clothing to haul into the car and to the laundromat and then sit there for 5 years because they have limits on how many washers you can take up at once 🤦🏼‍♀️

@squishymommy1 yikes!!!! Perhaps buying a portable washing machine would be worth it to you

I bought one of those stick “washing machines” that actually works pretty well getting the clothes clean. The agitator on the washing machine broke so it doesn’t wash. But it still spins so I don’t have to wring out the clothes. I just wash them. Throw them in the washer to spin the water out. Back in the bucket to rinse out a couple times. Spin and repeat. Dryer.

they have limits on how many washers you’re allowed to use at once so you can’t just take up a bunch of washers and dryers and get it all done (plus I live 30 minutes from town). Hand washing it is!

Probably a cray question to ask, but when did y’all start to wash your newborns clothes and putting them away? Like I’ve been getting clothes since I found out what I was having but I haven’t taken off tags yet or washed anything. I’m 30 weeks. It’s crazy because with my other 3 kids I didn’t really wash a lot of their stuff at first (got lazy) ALSO what laundry detergent did you use if you didn’t use Dreft? Because i saw Pyrex for Baby an didn’t know if anyone tried it??
