Had another stupid migraine with vision loss today 🙄 The only thing my doctor has suggested is to make an eye appointment so I guess I’ll make one tomorrow.

@mommaofjais oooh could very well be a high BP thing. I've never lost my vision, but sometimes I do get the "drifters" in my eyes.. like seeing a shadow really quickly.

@mississippi.queen, Yeah, I’ve read that that can happen with migraines as well. But the ones I see are zigzagging lines or flashing lights that cover about 50% of my vision. And it lasts for about 30 min. And afterwards a headache comes on for a few hours.

They’re called auras and supposedly are dangerous. This is only the 4th time it’s happened to me. My first one was last year. So, this is fairly new.

I just got blood results back online and my hemoglobin and hematocrit levels were low so it’s possible I am. But I haven’t had a doctor tell me yet.

@mommaofjais Makebsure your doctor isnt a quack! Mine had in my file I was Preeclampsic since like 18 weeks. And that wasnt the case at all.

@mississippi.queen, Yeah I’m seeing someone different for my next appointment. I didn’t like that she brushed it off as not a big deal.
And something definitely isn’t right because I work up this morning with a terrible headache and more flashing lights. I’m not sure who to call. I guess I’ll call my primary and see who they refer me to.
