OMG soooo much deeper than that. The flowers is just an example!!! It’s that I’m tired of feeling like I’m not listened to! It’s like you don’t know me and what I like after 21 years and you’re just going to do whatever you want to do and expect me to be sooo excited that you did anything at all? That’s what I call doing the bare minimum in a relationship. There are women out there who are okay with their men treating them bad and apologizing the same damn way every single time, but I’m not the one. We both need to work on shit and grow and that means acknowledging and changing patterns. Sometimes that requires a real life lesson regardless of what it is.
I don’t care who calls me a brat, ungrateful, whatever. What I do know is I stood up for myself in this as well as what happened to make me feel empty inside and hurt. I told my husband I don’t like that pattern of hurt and I showed him an example of what I like. Don’t like me now? Block me...

I understand wanting to get on the petty express but if you want your marriage to be more than beautiful pictures and vow renewals, i would get to counseling if you guys cannot talk together about what is going on.
Counseling only works when it doesn’t go in one ear and out the other and you actually listen and retain information.

@erik_uhh, it has nothing to do with date night. My husbands work hours have been like this for 16 years. I’m used to that...And you’re right my husband looks like the dope golden boy on paper. No one is perfect, especially myself but I do listen take note and don’t repeat. I have to go petty and nuts to get a reaction because it’s so not me and it actually puts that ass on alert and his alert isn’t high enough for me on this one.

And yes, we have been fighting and every time we do he calls himself using red roses as a way to apologize. I told him 20 years ago red roses aren’t my thing. He’s still not listening so I’m sending him some flowers as an example since he seems to need visual cues. Some people learn more visual spatial....I’m willing to help
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
He loved the lesson. He said it wasn’t mean or viscous at all. He said that if I felt the need to be that petty, then he needs to stop and listen to me because for me to actually go that far, I’m really seeking his attention to make a point. He also said, everyone needs a little home training here and there and that life in general is exactly that. A bunch of lessons and trainings...
Everyone can have their opinion and their family and marriage dynamics all day long and whatever works for you. Maybe being quiet when being disrespected and so happy when you get anything at all in apology is okay with you, I’m not judging you unlike many here but it’s not okay with me. We are supposed to evolve with age and that means acknowledging and breaking patterns that are negative. He needed that lesson and appreciated it and I’m sure there are a lot of other people out there who need a visual lesson such as that to get the point. We’re great now....we are usually fantastic communicators but I’m having a tough time right now because of a PTSD flare up.
