I tried it for 2 weeks and I couldn’t do it. I’m a diabetic who no longer requires insulin and meds and keto was a nightmare on my system. I had way too many lows. I’m following in case there’s another fellow diabetic whose diet controlled shares and had a more positive experience and figured out how to get past that super low carb issue. I’d be willing to try it again if I could figure that part out.
@llcoolkay, I probably ate around 1800 calories a day. Lots of lean proteins and veggies. Give yourself 1 cheat day a week. It won’t mess your diet and I needed it lol I love food
cut out juice and sodas and it will make a huge difference. That and dipping sauces. It crippled me when I was counting calories and saw what a little cup of ranch added in calories 😭 lol start little that may help

i was doing it before i got pregnant it was good for me.
easy to meal
prep and i lost like 8 pounds in a week.
i plan to do it again since i won’t be able to go to the gym so soon this time after my c section.

Wow 8lbs in a week is amazing!! I’m not big on meal prepping but I definitely want to try it
Ashley ··
my husband lost like 11 in a week.
😣😂
but yes it’s not as bad to meal prep if you stick with simple stuff. like i would do broccoli with melted cheese on top.
then like ground turkey/beef into little patties with melted cheese on top.
it just depends on how crazy you want to get with it.
Kayla ··
that’s so great. I’m gonna look up recipes and hope I can stick to it lol

Currently doing it and loving the results.

Girl I love food too!! It’s been such a struggle for me to stick to anything.

my problem is once I cheat or mess up I just go for it. All the food. In my mouth 😂
Kayla ··
@lorrinleigh, that’s my problem too lol

I did it and lost some weight. But I feel like I lost the same amount when I counted calories & exercised and didn’t restrict as much.
Kayla ··
@lorrinleigh, right! I would love to lose 50-60lbs by april
