Am I overreacting? My grandmother had a plate of food and she was sharing with my nephew and my 3 year old daughter. My nephew has some form of herpes and always has a breakout or cold symptoms and she was feeding them off the same fork. When I said something to her she acted really nonchalant and said “Well I ate from the fork too and I don’t see anything on his face”. I’m really upset about it and don’t know what to do.

I do not share anything with my kids! Gross! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also a bit of trivia - Did you know that kids are not born with the bacteria that causes tooth decay? It is introduced. 🦠

This is true. That’s why the dentist says not to share anything before the age of 2. They need to grow their own. 🤔

I get soars all the time sometimes from stress some ppl don’t ever get it don’t freak out lol my husband kisses me regardless and never got anything you have to be a carrier I think

That’s different. He contacted it from his mom so I know it’s contagious.

We don’t share straws or utensils in my house. It’s unhygienic.

We don’t eat or drink after each other 🤷‍♀️ even me and my husband maybe if it was summer time but the flu and stuff is going around like crazy hand foot and mouth rsv everything. So big no no!! And if that child was known to have something contagious I would be mad too

No I hate when people share there fork or bites of food with my child ...that's nasty even if you are healthy I dont want to eat after you so dont do that to my child. Give him his own plate.

I don't think you are overreacting. I am not into food sharing, it spreads too many germs and viruses. That was always a massive pet peeve of mine, how adults always want to touch the food on a baby's high chair tray and go mess with their nasty ass phones and stuff.

My mom got news that she has stage 3 breast cancer😭 she has to go back Tuesday to find out when surgery is and what they are gonna do after surgery they said she might need chemotherapy 😩 I’m just hoping that after the surgery the cancer is gone I just lost my grandfather a month ago I don’t want to lose my mom and I can’t handle anymore bad news 🥺 fingers crossed and prayers that that the surgery clears it 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Sooooo Athena has to have the surgery 😥😥😥😥 I've been bawling I'm a mess ! I can't believe this is happening to my poor child ! Why ? What did I do that caused this ? I'm seriously on my knees bawling ! As much as I tried to prepare myself, I wasn't ready to hear those words . In 3 months she will have her cranial surgery & I pray to God she has a easy & speedy recovery ! Please pray for my baby ladies ! She really needs them !

Mil Rant? My mil really irritates me. She wants my 4 year old and his 2 cousins (3&4) for the day Friday. She said she will pick him up and I mentioned I need to buy an extra car seat for my husbands truck. She said she doesn’t mess with car seats when she has the other cousins. I told her he will be in a car seat . I had to tell her twice so she understood. She said well she will use his car seat but 3 don’t fit. I don’t even want him going with her. I don’t understand how she thinks it’s okay.
