Am I overreacting? My grandmother had a plate of food and she was sharing with my nephew and my 3 year old daughter. My nephew has some form of herpes and always has a breakout or cold symptoms and she was feeding them off the same fork. When I said something to her she acted really nonchalant and said “Well I ate from the fork too and I don’t see anything on his face”. I’m really upset about it and don’t know what to do.
This is true. That’s why the dentist says not to share anything before the age of 2. They need to grow their own. 🤔
I get soars all the time sometimes from stress some ppl don’t ever get it don’t freak out lol my husband kisses me regardless and never got anything you have to be a carrier I think
That’s different. He contacted it from his mom so I know it’s contagious.
We don’t eat or drink after each other 🤷♀️ even me and my husband maybe if it was summer time but the flu and stuff is going around like crazy hand foot and mouth rsv everything. So big no no!! And if that child was known to have something contagious I would be mad too
No I hate when people share there fork or bites of food with my child ...that's nasty even if you are healthy I dont want to eat after you so dont do that to my child. Give him his own plate.
I do not share anything with my kids! Gross! 🤷🏼♀️
Also a bit of trivia - Did you know that kids are not born with the bacteria that causes tooth decay? It is introduced. 🦠
