So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
Okay so me and my boyfriend are planning right now... we started having sex 3 days after ovulating cause we didn’t know. We have been having sex a lot sense then. I feel like I have been having symptoms I am not sure . He went inside me on the 6th. The day I was suppose to start my period. I haven’t had my period and it’s almost been 6 days sense then and I haven’t had one. I get cramps and tender breasts, and basically feeling weird. I’m not sure if I am . Could the cum be making me period just start later orrr... please help I’m desperate. #myfirstpost
#mombassadorchat Happy World Breastfeeding Week! Please share your breastfeeding stories and tips! Hi everyone! @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom here. For today's chat we're going to talk about breastfeeding and pumping in honor of World Breastfeeding Week! Both can seem complicated or stressful, but remember you have lots of support here! With my first son I had things going against us for breastfeeding. I wish I knew back when he was younger that we could have still tried! With my second son I was determined to breastfeed, and even though he was born 11 weeks early I wasn't going to let that stop us from trying to breastfeed! For 7 weeks I pumped every 2 1/2-3 hours on the dot to establish and maintain my milk supply. When your little one is born early they usually need time to master sucking, swallowing, and breathing so I wasn't able to nurse right away. When my son was 33 weeks gestational (so 4 weeks old) we were finally able to latch on, and he did great! By 36 weeks gestational we had successfully started breastfeeding, and today marks 21 months of actual at-breast breastfeeding for us! I am passionate in trying to help moms-to-be and moms with breastfeeding and/or pumping, but I support moms who choose not to or for other reasons cannot breastfeed. Remember, I mentioned I didn't breastfeed my first son. I understand both sides. Breastfeeding isn't always easy, but I believe it's at least worth trying! Please help me celebrate World Breastfeeding Week by sharing your tips, questions, concerns, product recommendations, or anything else breastfeeding and pumping related! If you have a question for @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, please tag her in the comments below! Or share your advice and feeding stories.

I personally wasn't able to breastfeed but I wanted to breastfeed and supplement with formula where I needed to. Just talk to your doctor or do some research on which formulas are best for supplementation while still breastfeeding! I know a lot of women who have to do it.

Combination feeding is fine as long as you stick to your pumping schedule. If you don’t your supply might drop and you’d have to start all over again. Other than that there’s nothing wrong with doing it at all.

Yes that’s fine but you should try out the formula in the morning first to make sure she can digest it and not have stomach issues. You don’t want her to be waking up all night in pain. Formula is very different than breastmilk.

She’s had formula many times before. She sleeps all night whether she has formula or breastmilk. I’m wanting to do this at bed time for the convenience factor lol

That’s fine. I’d do what someone else suggested pump in the morning because your breasts will be fuller. Or it that’s not possible. Add a pumping session once or twice through out the day. If you want to build a stash you have to single your body to make extra milk. So you need to add some more pumping in there until your body gets the hint. Even if nothing or very little is coming out over time you’ll get more.

You can also try to pump after feeding her. It may seem odd but it’ll trigger your body to make a bit more where you may not need to use a bottle of formula at night and also get a freezer stash. Pump after your morning feed then again after a midday feed. The body will get the memo and start producing more

Мама дочки-младенца, беременна (5 нед.)
I formula fed my daughter at night for the first month, I ended up with quite a bit of a freezer supply.
