My old manager well and truely messed me over, told me I can use my holiday as soon as my maternity was over what he failed to tell me was I had to go back to work first for this to be accepted. I cried my eyes out in front of my new manager, who at first tried to blame me until I showed him the texts I'd been sent to set all this up. This would of left me nothing for Christmas zero food, no more presents for the kids and a whole month to wait.
Thank god for universal credit where I was able to get a loan to help me out.
The most stressful morning I've had in a long time.

Aww glad you managed to a loan through UC. Doing that to you is bad enough but then adding insult to injury by doing it a couple of weeks before xmas 😱 I think motherhood definitely makes us women stronger having to deal with this sort of shit 😉💪x

I was so worried they wouldn't be able to help but the lady on the phone was so lovely and saved my ads for over Christmas. If i seen my old manager I would of flipped 😂. It really does I was just automatically calculating everything I could to try make Christmas the best for the kids. Just glad I'm sorted now and can breathe again x
