Y’all I’m so irritated, I have been all day. My son is having tubes put in his ears on Wednesday and he has to be put under anesthesia because he’s so young. I got a call from the hospital today with all the information and then we get to “no other children allowed”
“Well I have a breastfeeding 3 month old I HAVE to bring”
“Well I’m sorry Michaela but you just can’t do that!” I was like... excuse me?

I was so pissed solely because of her attitude
I called again because I forgot to ask how long it would take. I got to talk to a different lady so when she was done telling me how long it would take I asked HER about my breastfeeding baby coming with me. While she confirmed I cannot bring her into the hospital she found a loophole for me instead of giving me a snarky ass attitude and straight up telling me no. Y’all that First Lady ruined my whole day. I was in tears by the end of the phone call just because of her doing that.

My mom told me “what if you were a single mom had $0 and didn’t have ANY family to help you because they lived out of state?” Like EXACTLY wtf would they have done then. I probably wouldn’t even have asked if she could come because I wouldn’t have had a choice at that point. I did tell the second lady she doesn’t take bottles so tough shit.(I left that second part out lol) I just was so mad at how rude she was about it. I was so much happier and glad I asked again and got a much more pleasant and helpful nurse the second time. It makes me want to tell someone how rude she was to me when I check him in tomorrow
