You could find the studs by sound but it’d be hard to make sure you’re securing the mount into the middle part of the stud. I wouldn’t mount anything without one. They’re pretty cheap at Walmart or Home Depot.
Studs are usually 16” apart. So start at the corner of the wall and measure. If you don’t find it at 16, try 24” out. But going every 16” is pretty usual. So you should be able to find all the studs 👍🏽 good luck

Yes I would think so that’s what my husband used but then again that’s kinda his profession 🤣

I would say so. It wouldn’t be secure if it was only installed into the drywall and you could guess and find the studs yourself but idk

U can use toggle bolts also . If u have to go into drywall .

They use those to hang cupboard. So they strong :)
