I was reading this article on tips to weaning a child off of a pacifier and one said to dip it into lemon juice or vinegar. Has anyone tried this before?

With my oldest I cut them and he threw them away. I tried that with my youngest but hes so stubborn he kept the pacis even though they had holes. The day before thanksgiving it actually got lost, he cried for hours that night before bed but went to bed fine. Hes still asking about it a week later, asking if I'm buying him a new one but no more tears over it.
@llcoolkay isnt that the most annoying thing? I cut the hole thinking it would be done and he kept using them I just had to throw them away one by one until we only had one left, and it finally got lost

We gave ours to Santa Claus for the little babies who dont have any. Wrapped them up and everything 😂 santa "gave" him a gold coin ($1 coin) and we went and picked a toy out for him. He got to pay and everything! He was so excited
Get a envelope and call it the binky fairy if she puts them all in the fairy will leave her a gift 🤷🏼♀️ worth a try use the mailbox
I’ve mentioned the binky fairy before and she told me she doesn’t like the binky fairy. But I think I’m gonna try it again

Instead of using nasty trick like that ( not being mean to you lol) just remove completely, ask her to put it in the trash and say bye bye the first 2 night are heellllllll but after that youll never hear about it again, my 3rd was soooo freakin bad soo this sumer we played a game made her throw it than asked for it i said no its gone she look for the others but i threw them man she cried and screamed but the 3 rd day she forgot about it now im free lol

It to my two last one at the same time to make sure my 3 years old doesnt still the babies but my baby didn't care or even noticed lol she was one
@travis9347, yeah I guess I could. He’s almost 8 months old and he’s not super stretched to it so it’ll make it easier
Can you try something like having her gather them all and wrap them up to give to Santa for the babies who need them? If you have an Elf he can take them and bring her back a big girl gift? My friend done similar but it was a dinosaur who came for them because that’s what her son liked and it worked for them.
