I live in California. So my sons 1. Just recently his dad decided to come in his life. This would be his 3d weekend with him since he’s been born. (Court ordered every other weekend). But he makes every single this so difficult. (He’s a narcissist). Long story short my sons birthday is this weekend. And it didn’t cross my mind once that it was his dads weekend. I let him know that I would give him 2 weekends in a row. But he’s being difficult as always. My question is. Is letting him know good enough? Can a cop come and take my kid to him? I’m so confused. I don’t want to reschedule bc I’ve been planning forever. But his dad won’t ever agree.
@mylatorres092018 you'd have to let him go with if his father comes to get him sadly. Or you could be held in contempt and get in trouble I think jail time is a consequence.
@mylatorres092018, it basically means you broke a court order and you could possibly be fined and it would look bad on your record if he ever wanted to go after you for more time
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Is anyone else just a total daddys girl? Growing up i wouldnt let any of my boyfriend meet my dad but thays my dad, i will still will not let anyone talk about my dad, disrespect him in anyways, like i will go beyond,
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
So, our downstairs neighbors have been banging on the ceiling every time our son walks. It scares him every time because it’s loud and he can feel it. I’m about over it. He’s TWO. He’s learning how to walk quietly but it’s hard for him. After about the 10th bang, I usually just put him in his high chair or his room. But I shouldn’t have to trap my kid in his own house bc of rude grown adults.
Advice??my 6 year old is acting up... I know it might not help but my 6 year old raise his hand at me and call me fat before that he hit me and i say no because you know you cry. I took his tablet away and told him that he needs to stop. that got him more mad and thats when he did it.So i tell him he would stay with me these weekend and not with his dad. I let his dad know and he is not agreeing with my decision. He says he is going to talk to him but its been the 3rd time he talks to him and nothing. That doind that wouldn't help💁 ♀ 🤷 ♀

Yeah, non compliance on a custody order like that can equal fines or a weekend in jail for you. I wouldn’t risk it if he’s that level of difficult.
