What do y’all do if y’all child is so attached to their grandparents and they never want to do anything with the parents!!!! My 5 year old is like that with my Mother In Law! And I’m losing my mind he cries for her it’s getting ridiculous

Sounds like it's time to get your own space. I don't really see any way around it. It KINDA sounds like she undermines you, like she likes the situation. I HIGHLY doubt SHE'LL be goin outta her way to change things. Is there a reason you live with her? Like do you have to take care of her or somethin?

@ryan_isaac_mom14, Oh Mama....I feel for you! What a suffocating situation. You could go extreme; you and the boys move out into an apartment or somethin and tell him that's where you'll be if he ever decides he wants to be the man of his own house.
I know that sounds awful but SHIT....if he's not willing to even discuss the situation, he's doin all but straight up tellin you that you and your feelings don't matter. That's more than fucked up! Your his WIFE, he married YOU, NOT his Mama!

I’d find other things to do and she needs to say no and push him off
My daughter is the same. I don’t really do anything other than explain when she can see them again. I love that she loves them so much because in reality they only have a short time together.
We live with them 🙄. I’m so ready to move out!!!

I live with mine and my kids love their grandma my daughter wants her all the time. I’ve talked to my mom about when I say no it mean no because that’s the biggest issue. As for anything else I let it be because I love that they are all so close. My sister just lost her mom and it has been a huge eye opener . I’d hate myself if something happened to my mom and I stopped my children from wanting her so much!
