Do you guys let your newborn sleep all day? She’s almost due for a feeding. Or do you guys wait til she wakes up?
I wake them definitely during the day. Depending on weight maybe not at night.
Never wake a sleeping baby. They won't let themselvs starve. If baby is hungry she'll wake up
@bunsinmyoven it is not incorrect. There's no reason to wake them up. They will wake up when they are hungry.
@mommy1991, go do some reading instead of giving incorrect advice
I believe you’re supposed to wake them to eat until they reach their birthweight. Then you can let them sleep through a feed, within reason.
@ekko, if I try waking baby up to feed and it’s passed 4 hours and she doesn’t want to eat, what do you do then?
I was waking my daughter for feedings for the first 6 weeks. Now (9weeks) she’s on a schedule, so during the day she wakes for feedings every 3 hours but she sleeps through the night she gets her last feeding at 10pm and she wakes up at 6 or 7 am.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Yea your definitely suppose to wake them till the baby is over birth weight and u said ur baby is still under so I’d definitely wake to feed.
If I didn’t wake my son I would have had way more issues with his weight gain then we did
