Problem is we don’t know anyone where we live

We just moved and everyone we know is 2 hours away

It’s raining out here

So we’re stuck in the house

I did ask him many times and all he did was give me dirty looks and ignore me

@thawkins, i was first my dads care taker

I quit my job to take care of his

He was also diabetic

Heart problems meh had a pacemaker

He had asthma

At one point he had skin cancer

He accidentally cut his legs and had a really bad infection for months

And a few months before he passed he was told he needed dialysis

So he gave up

I was with him till he took his last breath

Take good care of your mommy

They took care of us and now it’s our turn to take care of them

It’s not easy it takes a toll but it’s worth it

There’s weeks I spent more time at clinics or hospital than at home

It’s hard because I don’t know anyone out here so I have my kids with me at all times

My moms sisters never have time to come see her or help me once in a while

There’s days I want to quit but just seeing my mom how happy she is having my kids around pays off and having another little one on the way has her excited and not wanting to give up
