Omg I've watched a c-section video for the first time, when i say i commend the mothers that had to go through c-section🙌. I've had 4 natural but my first pregnancy I had the epidural but none of that compared to being cut open like that wtf I'm so scared to go through that smh. Big ups to you mothers yall the real mvps cause no doctor cutting me open no sir my biggest fear 😢

I had to be cut open before I could get numb in order to save my son’s life he’s heart stopped completely while I was in labor with him

My mom had 2 c sections and almost died with the last one. She said she could feel it, too and the drs didn’t do anything about it. Saying there was no way she could feel it. I was 13 and I swore I wouldn’t have kids bc I was so afraid of having to have one. I’m still terrified. Yeah, giving birth vaginally hurts like hell but I’d MUCH rather do that than get cut open.

I appreciate this post soo much you don’t even understand! I had two natural births with my first two kids. The reason I needed a c section with the baby wa because with my son I had a shoulder cortortion or how ever you spell it was dangerous he was in distressed, so with the baby they said it would most likely happen again depending on her weight but they didn’t want to take that chance and risk it so I had to have a c section, I didn’t have a choice. The recovery after was so painful 😣

Thank you so much! My last was a c section and I thought it was horrible. I had a terrible experience. I'd much rather a child come out my vagina.

I told my husband I was not having a c section and totally skipped all the readings about c sections. Then I was told my baby was breeched so there went my natural no meds plan. I had my c section scheduled for 39 weeks and was just getting the idea in my head when at 38 weeks I went into labor and had to have my c section done right then. It was terrifying and after they numbed me I couldn’t stop shaking. A nice side effect from the shot.

My actual c section wasn’t as terrible as I thought it would be I couldn’t feel anything and I didn’t hear anything.

I was disappointed I couldn’t hold my baby in my arms but they did lay her by my face so I could see her. Then my husband got the first cuddles while they waited for me in recovery.

Now I’m nervous for a VBAC if I get the chance for a second child.

Girl I had a csection with my first and hoping for a vbac with my baby boy due in March. I’ve been too scared to watch a video. My husband said it traumatized him. The sight sounds and the way the dr was jerking my body. I didn’t feel a thing and my recovery was great. I just want to experience natural birth if at all possible and I’m so thankful my dr is so supportive of that.

I wholeheartedly appreciate this post! Some ppl act like "oh you took the easy way out" or say "it was a choice" but they dont realize that most women dont choose to have a csection. We want to insure that our child will get here safely & risk our life to do it. & alot of times after having it it's no going back, vbac is rare & most dr. wont risk it. I was hoping to vbac my son but at last min I was told I couldn't & had to deliver him early due to health risks. But with all that said natural birth mommas are mvps too! We all need a round of applause 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I’ve had 3 c sections

With my 3rd it was bad I was having anxiety

I might be having a 4th and last one if my doctor doesn’t let me have a VBAC

It’s even more fun when they have to start cutting you before you’re numb 😅

I had the fun of my epidural wearing off (pushed for 2 hours then went in for C-section, so I don’t think I could have the normal anesthesia because of already having an epidural).

Epidural wore off before pushing, and then wore off again mid-surgery. I could feel them stitching what I guess was my uterus. It burned so bad, and I didn’t even know how to communicate it to my anesthesiologist because I was so worn out.

My husband was gone with baby by that point. It was terrifying. Luckily my anesthesiologist noticed I was thrashing around a bit and asked if it was wearing off, so I nodded yes and he worked his magic.

So I feel you on this @jellybeans33! So scary!
