No judgement please!!
I’m not sure what to do for Maddox. It’s a constant fight to get his teeth brushed and when we do we can never really do a great job because he just won’t open his mouth. Today I noticed his breath smells like sour milk. He usually has a milk at bedtime to go to sleep. So I’m wondering if it’s cause the milk is sitting there all night.

One of my sons favorite videos is the brush your teeth song by elmo & friends. Maybe try that. Get him all set up to brush his teeth & play the song on a tablet or phone by the sink

My son hated brushing his teeth, too. It was a struggle but now we make it in to a fun time. I’ll tickle him, play “airplane” with the toothbrush, let him brush while I direct it, sing a special song, just be silly. He doesn’t want to stop brushing his teeth now.

You could always give him milk and then brush his teeth. Read a book together while he drinks his milk or something. My husband and I work together on brushing teeth. We either hold him down, or my husband does something silly and tickles him while I hold his hands down and brush his teeth... I keep hearing that it gets easier and eventually they will want you to brush their teeth 🤷♀️
