I’ve been really happy & impressed with Elliott’s growth, thinking out of the three boys he might be the fastest grower... until I went to a park and asked to see a mom’s baby and she was bigger than Elliott and only 2 weeks old! She was significantly bigger than Elliott who is 2 months old.
*sigh*
I know he was a month early.
I know I make small babies.
But I was really happy until I realized he’s still “small”. Now it has me worried that he will be small like Oliver, who at the age of 4 is the same size of my friend’s 2 year old.

Your son is perfect for him. You can't compare with others, even his own age. My example, my two-year old is a giant, literally. She's almost 43 inches. She was two weeks late and was 8lbs at birth. She's taken, but extremely thin. I used to constantly try to compare her to this one or that one, but I only ended up stressing myself out. I think at a certain age your son will have a growth spurt and eat you out of house and home. At that point, he'll still be perfect for him, but be caught up with others. 💞

You have small babies tho! He is probably doing just fine. Our doctor tells us what percentile they are in for hight weight & head. He is perfect! Mine I feel after still catching up and it's hard not to compare a preemie!

@momtoboys1516 Good!

Don’t worry about it they all grow at different rates and catch up in the end!

Every baby is different! Jak is 18 months, 31 lbs and 7 shoe. It doesn't matter how big or how small they are as long as they're healthy! People compare their kids to others all the time but we need to realize everyone is built differently

How much does your 2 month old weight? My son was 4 weeks early and at 2 months he weighs 9lbs, born at 6lbs. He is only 5% for weight, and 1% for height lol but its to be expected having a premie.

I haven’t had him weighed lately because we moved and don’t have a new pedi yet. He was born at 5 pounds even. I’ll see if I can pull out a scale from the garage and weigh him with me. I’m thinking he weighs 8-9 pounds by now. My second son was born at 29 weeks gestation. He’s 4 but he’s only 38 inches tall and maybe 30 pounds. I’m just hoping the newest little guy isn’t slow to grow like the middle child because I’m supposed to take Oliver (the middle/ 29 weeker) to an endocrinologist to find out if there’s a reason why he’s behind in growth other than his prematurity.
