Anyone else’s kid have problems with constant ear infections ? My son got diagnosed w one last Wednesday day. Tomorrow’s his last day of antibiotics. He got sent home on Monday from school with a fever and he puked . Every night for the last week and a half he won’t sleep . Just whines the whole night . I’m exhausted . Tuesday night puked again multiple times and another high fever . Doctor said it was a stomach bug . His school director didn’t think so cause it wasn’t constant diarrhea and puking . She thought it was the ear infection. I shrugged it off . But now he’s up crying and shoving his fingers in his ears . I have an ultrasound in the morning at the hospital so I’m gonna take him to the urgent care after and get him seen but I’m so exhausted . I’m running on like 10 hours of sleep all week and I cant even right now 😭 we’re so miserable

My youngest had constant ear infections from 4 months to 9 months until they put tubes in his ears.

I'm not sure, i assume with enough push to the pediatrician they might. How many ear infections has he had? The pediatrician should be keeping track because they cant give the same antibiotic within a certain time frame

this is his second one this winter season . Last winter season it was back to back . I sense the same thing occurring

My daughter had them back to back for months. They are a candidate for tubes if they have 4 within 6 months.

I had them what seemed monthly for the first half/ 20 years of my life. Back to back, one infection down came the next. No one thought tubes was the issue. It didn’t end until I had my tonsils removed. Now they put tubes in ears way more often now. I’d document and push that issue.
