Any ladies on here have a relatively quick labor and birth when being induced? I'm hoping that I will be able to have my son on the same day they start the induction. I was told my water will be broken the morning of the 27th. With my first I was induced at 8am on the 29th but didn't have him until 9am on the 30th so I'm hoping that wont be the case this time 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I did! I was having active regular contractions when i went in but my water hadnt broken but they wanted to keep me bc according to them I was over due by a week. 😒 but 30 hours into labor I had a bit of a fever and they decided they were hooking me up to pit. 3 hours in i hadnt dilated anymore then 4cm. And i needed the epidural. 3 hours after the epidural I was pushing and 38 mins later my lo was born. So 6hrs and 38mins from start of pitocin.

2 out of 3 of mine were induced my 1st born was, and i was in labor for 6 hours. Start to finish, and my 3rd born was 4 hours start to finish, this one here will be induced as well. Lol

I did. Had cervadil at 7:20pm and consistent contractions started at 4:30 am and once they broke my bag at 9:30am it went quickly and I had her at 11:11

I hope so too! I was actually overdue and it didn’t progress as quickly as I had hoped since my first and second were really fast- my second really really fast

I was induce with both but my last one de very quick. I was 4cm an in less then 1 hour I was fully dilated. Nurse didnt believe me when I told her I felt a lump down their cuz she just check me. And by the time the dr came baby was coming out on her own. He was getting ready and saw her head coming out and hes like dont push and i wasnt. Her head came out without me pushing. I just push 1 time to deliver her shoulders. But she came so fast she tear me up so bad. That 5 months and a half later needed surgery cuz had extra tissue in the inside of my vagina. 🤦♀️ my kids come fast once I start to dilate. Good luck on induction day . Hope it goes fast but not as fast as me

5 hours total for me when I was induced with my son. compared to 17 hours with my oldest coming on her own.

My last two inductions. I was in labor for maybe 3 hours each time. They started the pit, and once they broke my water, it wasn’t much longer.

Cervadil at 8a.m. had my son at 12:38. Super fast. Pushed twice and he was out lol

I do remember the second being faster then the first and I was induced both times.

I was induced. Went in at 5 and had her at 9:11 pm. I was already dilated to a 5 though
