Well not to choose sides but my husband and I "celebrate" our wedding date, not getting together. But hey, if he is going to get lucky he should at least make it special for ya!!

We got married last year in April and still celebrated in December so I’m not sure why he’s acting like that. Everyone I know still celebrates both.🤷♀️ I’m like if I would have never said yes to dating you we wouldn’t be married so it’s still pretty significant in my eyes.

@scidg3, Somethings mean more to others. Of course we celebrated this past April we flew out to San Diego.😍 But to me the other date is just as important I don’t know how I could ever forget that day.

We’ve been through a lot and the dating anniversary means a lot to me. He picked me up and made me whole again after I got out of a toxic relationship. He’s my very best friend. Both days mean so much to me.😭❤️

Nothing wrong with celebrating both. We celebrate both too but mainly bc our first date was the 4th of July (or else, we’d probably forget😆) we just do something small and sweet for the dating anniversary and the big stuff for the wedding anniversary.
