I’m thinking about breastfeeding this baby and was wondering is it really true that you lose more weight if you breastfeed?
Not true for me, I hold on to all the baby weight until I’m done breastfeeding. But after I drop it all within a few months.
@babybert16, I know 😣 I feel giant right now. And knowing that I have another 10.5 months of breastfeeding isn’t making me feel great lol
@bsr2016 I know it is tough, but I try to think of it like this: our bodies seem to need the extra weight to nourish our babies. It is worth it in the end and will fall off eventually. Try to fill yourself up with healthy fats and protein and know that it won't be forever and it will come off with ease once the time is right.
Lol no not really it’s also not true you have to watch what you eat because I ate what I wanted had no issue and never was hungry 🤷🏼♀️ I’m like 110
It was true for me too . Lost most of the weight after 3 months . I also noticed a big difference in my hormones . First pregnancy I didn’t breastfeed and had the worse pp depression . Second time I breastfed for 6 months and never had any signs of depression. 100% recommend it’s the best for the baby and you 💗
Not true for me at all... pre-pregnancy I was 140, when I went up to 180 and when she was born I went to 170, she’s almost 5 months and I freaking 190... HOW?! I feel like I barely even eat and I’m way more active now than I was before I had her! Ugh...
It wasn’t true for me. I feel like my body is holding on to more weight while I’m breast feeding then it did with my first.
I think I eat more 😂😂😂. But that should not be the deciding factor. If you can physically and mentally I say go for it!
