Great, now my parents are super mad at me because yesterday they wanted me to take them out, and now today I didn’t want to go because I have so much homework and really didn’t want to get behind. So I get a phone call from my momma saying to accept the consequences. Idk what consequences they mean if I don’t live with them. 🤷♀️

I think she means "accept the games we're about to play" they probably aren't gunna talk to you and if they do there's gunna be little words spoken, or if you ask them a favor or ask them to go somewhere with you they're not going or doing anything... Sounds like alot like my MIL, she plays these same games with her kids🤦 I have never given into her games.. I brush her off like a crumb on my shoulder😁 @momma_of_1

You are right. That’s how my parents are. My dad was supporting me going back to school and now he already cut me off financially. And it’s like ok I shouldn’t of said I wasn’t going to take them instead of saying yes. So now they were so mad that when my mom called me she was crying. They acted like a committed a crime.

yea you got your own life going on, don't stoop down to their level and play games with them cause it's just gunna keep going on and on, like your walking on eggshells with what you say, that's how my husband was with his mom, he had to watch what he said or she acted as if he created a crime like you said your mom did to you, he cut her off after our daughter passed away, she was happy at the fact that we lost our child😑 she actually told us she had prayed our baby girl wouldn't make it and that it was a blessing she died and said it was our fault 💔 no need to continue having a negative relationship with those who are like that.. simply cut them TF out🙌

Omg I’m sorry to hear that you lost your daughter. Just for the fact that your mil wished that upon you is really cold hearted. The thing is with my parents is that we are super close and they always helped me out when I needed it the most but just because I simply said “no” they decided to act like this with me. I just can’t believe it....
