I have a strange question this is my step son my husband hasn’t seen him since he was 4 months old cuz the mom is denying him rights but he has joint custody I have no clue what to do what would you guys do

You should probably take her to court if she is denying rights. If he has joint custody then there should be some sort of arrangement made through the courts for visitation. If she isn’t complying then go back to court and let them know.

That’s what I’m thinking about doing but my lawyer said go for full custody because she’s doing drugs around him and hitting him so I have absolutely no clue anymore

Social security and child support said he still has joint custody since he’s on the birth certificate his name was never removed

Does he have court ordered visitation? If so, she will get in trouble for not allowing the visits. If not, that’s what he needs to do.

If it's joint he can legally see him id take her to court. Go for the full custody. We got full custody for my step daughter because her mom was smacking her across the face among other things.

Do they have a custody agreement? He can take her back to court and she can get in trouble for going against court orders. If there is abuse he needs to act now. Go for full custody, show the proof of abuse and her drug use, save that baby.

He has to taker her to court and tell them what she’s doing my husbands ex does the same shit because they pop pills and they know he will spill the beans but we already know she’s a druggy
