My dr appointment got changed from this morning with a midwife to this afternoon (right in the middle of nap time) with a physician! Drove farther to a different office then I usually go to. Got there, the nurse didn’t look at anything in my chart before remarking how ok my blood pressure was. Then the dr comes in. Says my blood tests were fine and my blood pressure was to be expected for someone “with known BP issues” ummm no it’s not! I only have BP issues when pregnant and it’s never been this hard to control before.....she didn’t know this.....she didn’t look at anything either!!! Didn’t ask what my pressures were running at home. Had no idea what’s really going on WITH ME!!!!!
Going in for an NST tomorrow and not leaving without a second opinion from a Dr that knows what’s going on!!!!

This is why I hate OBs.. they're so big headed and don't take the time to get to know you... I'm delivering with an OB for my first time, with my 3rd child, and I'm so nervous about it. If they don't follow my birth plan, I will sue the fuck out of these people. I'm in nooo mood for idiocracy. My MIL is a midwife in NY and I've taken many a birthing class, even gone as far as a private class from a lady in Ireland. (Gentlebirth classes are sooo bomb, and useful!) I know what to refuse and what is "necessary" I only have BP issues when I'm pregnant as well. My old midwife knows that lol but the doctor doesnt care and wants to put me on meds. Nah fam. No thank you.. Lol

I’ve been on meds for my BP since the first trimester. Same with my last 2 pregnancies. That’s not what I have the issue with! My issue is that this time my BP is not being controlled! It’s so up and down still and I was told we are almost maxed out on BOTH meds that I’m on!! And this Dr that I saw today didn’t seem to know any of this!! Didn’t seem to know what’s going on with me.
