I think it’s really sad that a mom felt the need to explain to me why she ordered her two year old a soda because she was afraid to look like a bad mom.
Just don’t give your child soda ever and they will never know what it is. My daughter didn’t have her first sip of soda until about 4 months ago. I just let her try it, I’ve never ordered her a soda as a drink. Why when there are so many other options? You’re not depriving them if they don’t even know what it is.
The only soda my kids get is carbonated water lmao my Ozarka sparkling water. They have like 4 sips, and then talk like they've just had some hard liquor.. 😂
Lmao that’s so funny!! My daughter acts a damn fool when she has soda. But if I give it to her it’s sprite so it doesn’t have caffeine
@llcoolkay it literally sounds like they've gotten incredibly winded lol I always chuckle, and know when they steal a sip... they think they're sneaky. Mama knows!
I know someone who fills their kids bottles with soda. Then she wonders why their teeth are bad 😒 but as a treat here and there I don't see a problem with it. People will judge you on the tiniest things.
Right? I would never put soda in a bottle and I hardly ever give it to my daughter. I’m just sick of the mom shaming over every little thing. It’s just sad
@llcoolkay it is! I see the problem with them having it daily but I let my daughter drink soda once in a while. She gets wild though so she only is aloud one cup Like every couple weeks lol.
@catfish2220, exactly. I think it’s totally fine every once in a while if you as a parent thinks it is
@mamaxkat89, I’m not saying it’s not her fault but it’s still not right for her to feel like she needed to explain to me why so I wouldn’t judge her
@mamaxkat89 no im saying its her fault. She gives it to the kid and dosnt offer anything else so its her fault for the behaviour
I order my 1yr old when are out. Not like he will drink it all so I drink it and he takes sips 🤷♀️
It’s nobody’s damn business what you give your kid to drink. Unless it’s alcohol haha
I ordered my 5 year old a coffee with his meal once. Chill out Brenda, it's for me and I'm too cheap to buy my own drink when he won't even drink anything until we get home 🤣
I agree. It’s sad how women bash each other especially mothers. Maybe it’s a treat because they were out, who cares. It’s one thing if someone is putting their child in danger then speak up. I personally am sick of all the “ crybabies” as I call them who take offense to everything. A joke you tell is offensive etc. Get over it!
Exactly. If that child’s life is not in danger who cares if it’s drinking soda. I told her I know exactly how it is. We all do things as parents we never thought we would do.
She died
My mom passed away early this morning..

😭 she was asking her mom if god still loved her
It's so annoying when your mom acts like she knows your baby more then you my daughter is a year old and my mom says she probably won't take naps anymore I don't think she is ready to just not have a nap anymore she is still young

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
@2sweetie, @mamaxkat89, I completely agree but whether she gives her son soda or not is nobody’s business and she shouldn’t feel like people are thinking she’s a bad mom because of it
