When did you mummies take away your child’s dummy? My daughter is 22 months and has her dummy for nap time and bedtime only. I’m hoping to take it from her when she’s about 2 1/2 where she will understand a bit more that dummy has gone and isn’t coming back. I’d love to hear your views xx
Both mine were about 2. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My youngest was easier, plus he kept biting through them so was a choking hazard and I just got rid, he only really ever bit on it the older he got.
Jaxon was a couple of days after he turned 2. Willow had them for about 3 months and binned them off
I really wanted mine off dummies by the time they were 2yrs, so around 19-20months ish I took them away. Morgan had started chewing his. Was literally chewing bits off so I had to as it was a choking hazard.
With Max I'd just put him in his toddler bed and thought why not let's get rid of the dummies as well 😂 Neither time was as bad as I imagined. After a few days it was like they'd never had a dummy.
My little one is biting the dummies too but she’s going through a rough patch with her teeth and it’s interrupting her sleep🙈xx

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Glad you asked this, my eldest is the same age and he still has his. He wouldnt understand if i was to take it right now so im gonna wait till hes abit older n hopefully by then my youngest will be ready for it aswel, i try n limit it to jst bedtime but he now hides them everywhere so he always finds them or takes the babies one 😂 xx
