@coffeebean, yeah let me know what she says. I’m curious as they all have a different opinion. I actually have my prescription written as “active pills only” so that I can get 4 packs instead of just 3 for a 90 day supply. It’s basically the same as taking seasonale or whatever those special packs were called. I probably wouldn’t have stopped either if I had only been taking the packs regularly with a monthly period so you were probably on the right track with that

@coffeebean, funny fact about it... the guy who helped creat the pill felt that it was more natural to have a period every month and it was helpful in appeasing Catholics who had been taught that birth control was wrong. Not due to medical necessity

@ltee, wow that’s super cool to know, I might ask my doctor about that next time. But I am signed up to get my pills with the pill club so idk how I’d handle it with them, I guess my doc writes the new prescription & then maybe I’d send it over to them. Either way I might look into that cause I could DEFINITELY get used to no period again without actually being pregnant lmao

I have never actually taken the sugar pills, I just figured this was an easier way of asking than explaining how I skip that row. My doctor always told me it was up to me to take or not.

@coffeebean, oh okay. I always took them because if I didn’t, I would get confused. I take them but you don’t have to.

@bbgirlmama, that’s why my doctor said a lot of people take them is to keep in the habit of taking them which makes sense. I used to take em but they never helped me actually remember lol. Only my alarm usually does but my dumbass loves to hit ignore & think I’ll take it but I forget 🤦🏽‍♀️
