Morning ladies! Do anyone know much about prepaid credit cards? I trying to pay a dept n I am not about to give them my account number nor my main credit card. Last month I had fraud on my account. Not being a victim again!
Anyone else get weird phone calls regarding a credit card that they don’t even know about?! Then when I tell them I don’t have any credit cards they hang up 🤷🏽 ♀

Okay so I want to get a credit card and my own bank account so that I can start being less dependent on my husband. I am not really sure about credit cards, is there anything I should know? Or any advice you ladies can give me? I want to start building my credit as it stands I have a credit score of 0 which is neither good or bad but I would like to move and they like to do credit checks seeing as my husbands credit is terrible it's really not going to help us.
Has anyone signed up for the Carter’s credit card? I want to know how the 25% off the first purchase on the account within 24 hours of opening the credit card works if you sign up online and don’t have a physical card to use.
Applied for my first few credit cards (Target, JC Pennys, Khols). Any other credit card(s) i should apply for? I have no credit so i figured this is my next step. Plus i feel we can handle the payments.

I honestly would not recommend using a prepaid credit card because it’s no way for them to trace it and they can come back and say you never paid it. I would recommend a money order, you’ll have full proof of payment and it won’t bite you in the axx in the long run

Thanks! Even thought this is a different company. I have had to get a MO traced from paying a bill. And someone on the inside cashed it. That's was years ago. N why a MO was not the 1st thing on to come to mind.

What did you wanna know about them? We use them all the time to pay bills or order something from weird websites we’re just not sure about.

@lana30319, I know my husband always goes for the vanilla prepaid ones. I’ll have to ask him about the fees when he gets home but I’m almost positive it doesn’t charge a fee. I do know if you decided nevermind, you can not get the cash back off the card so you have to use the card once the cash is on it.

I know our Walmart sells them & I do believe his are reloadable.
