I went to the ob today for my 36 week appointment. At my appointment I was informed that due to my consistently high blood pressure that they will be inducing me next week.
If you've had at baby at 37 weeks what was your experience? Did baby have to go to the NICU or stay longer than a full term baby? Were there any complications ? I'm super nervous.
Sorry to hear about your complications. Try to rest as much as possible, I know easier said than done.
I had my 4th baby at 37 weeks when I woke up to find my water broke. I had my 5th at 36 weeks. She just decided it was time. Both were fine. Every baby is different so I understand your concern. 37 weeks is considered full term..
Write all your questions down and give your OB a call. Make sure to ask everything and anything. That’s what they get paid for! Good luck and can’t wait to see your bundle of joy!
Got induced at 37 weeks 4 days. Perfectly healthy other than a little jaundice. Sent us home with a light blanket for it.
I had my son at 36w5d and he was perfect . He did not need to go to the NICU.
My first was delivered at 37 weeks. He was perfectly fine! Didn’t have to have any help at all, didn’t stay any longer, he did have jaundice worse then my other 2. But that was it.
This one will probably be born at 37 weeks too for the same reason.
