going through madeleines things tonight, we don’t have very much because we lost her at 15 weeks, but i cherish the things we do have.

this is the little sleeper we bought the day we found out we were having a girl. i just had to go buy something.

i still sleep with one of her blankets most nights, we used it in the hospital after she was born. we buried her with another one so i could keep the one thing she ever got to use.

im glad that we found out her gender early, im glad that we bought things early, im glad that we chose her name before i was even out of the first trimester. all of these things im thankful for because it reminds me that she was real and she was here with us even if only for a short time.
