My first struggled so bad, she had to use a nipple shield and was always around under her weight curve. I breastfed her for 7 months until she would just scream because she wasn’t getting anything. She woke up every half hour to nurse (for 4 months) and had tummy issues so I always had to play with my diet to see if something I was eating was bothering her.
Fast forward to now, this girl nurses like a champ, my supply is great, she’s gaining like crazy (6 pounds 14 oz at birth and now is almost 10 pounds!) and isn’t fussy at all. I feel really guilty about not making it it to a year with my oldest, and I really want to with this girl.

Mine was the opposite ! I nursed mine until she was 3 and with my son he wasn't gaining weight plus my supply sucks I hardly have anything. He gets every drop I have to offer though.

I’m worried I’m
Going to have the opposite experience bc I nursed so long 18 months with my first I’m worried that I’m going to be over it . Even though I have my self some time to have a break and it’s a new baby new experience I’m trying to go in open minded

I went into it this time really trying not to feel guilty about it if I struggled again and needed to supplement. Honestly it made it easier!

I agree that’s how I felt the first time around and I’m going to try have the same attitude this time around also ! I wish you the best of luck with your nursing journey
