How much has everyone got their babies/toddlers for Christmas?

I haven’t totalled what we have spent, I buy the bits I want them to have as long as I know they have roughly the same. I say spend what you can afford not what others say you should spend. I haven’t went crazy for toys as too many just irritate me as they don’t play with them all. I put £1000 into each of their saving accounts at Christmas but they won’t see that for many many years
Yeah we have this year, with another baby in the picture and a recent move money has been extremely tight for us. Bloody hell that's alot x
@megan-leigh, it’s just the time of year works well to put the money from my husbands company in now. I put a smaller amount in every month as would have put their child benefit but we aren’t entitled anymore
Weve gone crazy this year and have spent £200 for christmas but some how spent £400 on her birthday including her party and we havnt even got everything yet🤦♀️😫x
Bloody hell! Haha Allaiyahs had around £200 for christmas and I've not started her birthday yet🤦♂️ And I have another baby to save for so it's going to bloody hectic for me 🤦♂️🤣 x
Spent £100 so far and probably will spend another £100, her birthday is a month after Christmas 😊❤️ so not going mad! She will get some big things for her birthday:)

Ah similar to me then! And yeah were planning on getting her some good things for her birthday as well and also having a day out at the zoo as we dont know many people and tbh I dont really have friends to invite. And thank you xx
@megan-leigh, I say it now lol but it could go out the window depending on what I find 😂 but so far I’ve found some really good things she will love! I’m kinda stalling because knowing kids their interests change like the weather lol! Last year she was absolutely obsessed with paw patrol this year she loves My little pony 😂 Yeah I always take her to the Zoo for her birthday (my birthday is in July so I just join it with mine), yeah she only ever has one or two people at her party! I don’t know a lot of people and due to anxiety I don’t really talk to parents at her school. Also she’s having an operation 2 weeks before her birthday next year so depending on how she is she might not having a party! I may just have a day in with snacks and movies xxx

@megan-leigh we've got three rooms full of toys, my living room. His bedroom and his playroom. I can't take much more 😂 x
@jamie123 Her play room is the biggest room in the house so luckily we can contain it between her bedroom and there 🤦♂️ but with what we've got then her birthday if I get anymore my house would be a nightmare 🤦♂️🤣 x
Spent £100 each on toys and then will probs go and get them some outfits and new pair of trainers too xx
Sound good! Shes recently got some new outfits and has a christmas outfit too. And I've spent around £200 as of now on toys which I think is enough xx
@megan-leigh, that's plenty! I did want to buy a little more but just thought they've got SOOOO much off family members too that they'll have way too much and won't even get to play with it all xx

I've spent about £80 on Kylan and finished. That's getting him a Nintendo DS, a scooter, dvds, Art set, books, pjs and board games. He has so much already, he's probably going to just want to play with one thing and the rest will get shoved in a drawer so I'm not going mad x
Yeah I'm thinking shes had enough now then, shes had 200 but it's her birthday 4 months after Christmas too. So her toy room would end up packed if I carry on I think x
We’ve probably spent £150 but this is gonna be his first proper Christmas as last year he was only 5weeks old. He’s got loads off my parents and my partners father so he’s been spoilt if I’m honest even though we said not too. We had some bargains from the Entertainer & Smyths whilst they’ve been in offer. I don’t believe in spending loads and loads on toys that are gonna be collecting dust for the next 12 months till it’s time to do it all again!! X
