Any mommies experiencing stuttering with there 3 year old my son just started to stutter and I think its because he thinks very fast and trys to talk fast before he can get what hes trying to say out and he does it sometimes but I hear him doing it when hes trying to talk to me about somthing or asking me a question....
I spoke to an SLP at my school when my son did this. She said it’s VERY common. Many kids will go through a phase like this. Just listen to what he’s saying, don’t rush him, or tell him to slow down. Sometimes kids will try to keep up the same speed and pace of adults around them, so try to slow down your own speech.
@athenia823, Yep, that’s how my son was. It went away after a few weeks.
@ekko really? You didnt put him in any special classes?
@athenia823, He’d have to qualify for speech services before he could receive any outside help. I consulted with a colleague (she’s a speech language pathologist). Her advice was spot on and the stuttering cleared in a few weeks.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Mine stuttered for a few weeks and then it went away on its own. He’s got a speech disability and when I brought it up to his SLP, she said to wait and see if it got worse or better. We didn’t do anything for it or call attention to it, just had him slow down his speaking when it happened.
