I'm going crazy. If the baby can see me he's crying for me. If we're in the same room he's crawling all over me or has to always be in my lap. I put him on the floor or in the high chair he might be ok for 5 minutes.
Right now I'm hiding in the kitchen and hes fine for a min then crying.. Now he's scratching to get out of the room. I need help. My 4yr old was not like this unless we were in a new place.
Eta He is teething but this seems excessive. I go back to work in three days and if he's like this with my mom it won't be good. She will not do this with him.
Suggestions? Words of encouragement?
I wish I had any advice or could say it gets better. In my experience it still hasn't 😭 my oldest was never like that but my 2 1/2 year old I can't be out of his sight even now. He sits by the shower door while I take a shower, tries to sit on my lap when I'm using the bathroom, if I'm cooking wants to be on the counter. Its driving me crazy, I totally understand your feelings
Lol I've been havingvto put him in the kitxhen sink while cooking. 21/2??? Yikes!
@mhbb29 I carry her around everywhere as well, when I'm home. Even while I'm cleaning ! It's so frustrating at times but at the same time, I know I'll miss it when the day comes that this stops. They only stay little for a little while.
She is okay in their care though. Doesnt cry. Until I either leave, or shoe back up and dont get her right away. It's extremely frustrating and overwhelming but hang in there mama, it wont last forever.
@mhbb29 I'm sure he wont cry all day in your mothers care. Maybe at first but then he will stop. And he will wait for you to get back to him. He will be fine, no worries mama you can help him with this seperation anxiety by playing many different games with him. We can coach them out of this stage by doing so.
Scarlette is the exact same way !! Has been for awhile now. My family babysits her also, she is good for them, she cries of course when she sees me leave when I drop her off there, but the minute I show up... shes reaching for me and God forbid i dont grab her as soon as i walk in, its world war 3. Also, even when I'm in her sight, she cries for me the entire time until i pick her up.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
???
My child is NOT disgusting just because he has HFMD. I feel beyond awful that he even has it, but now I feel like facking shat since my family makes it seems like he's so disgusting. I'm just gonna lay in bed and cry ??
Rant
My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wro...
I'm so scared I'm going to go through PPD, I been so sad lately and it's mainly about my 18 month old. I feel like I'm failing him as a mom because he rather go to my mom than me and he don't like to come to me as much since the baby been born. Now he has his moments where he get mad and hit at the baby , of course I pop him and tell him that's a no no and not to fight his brother. I feel like I'm failing as a mom to him sometimes.
I watch kids for a living and I didnt know that this 1 year old I watch was a stage 5 clinger at all untill I saw her with her mom. When shes here shes completely independent and happy. When her moms around she cannot be put down at all ! My son is the same way too. When it comes to me he has to be in my arms always. When my husband watches him hes fine to go in other rooms and play ! I think it's just a stage all little ones go through at some point ! Your little one will be okay !! And if he does wine and cry to be held the first couple days, he will eventually get used to the days away from you and learn some independence too !! It's always good for kids to branch out and be in new environments, and grow into their own little people !
