Why is it that they only allow you to go to the maternity triage at 20 plus weeks pregnant but not now? What if I needed serious medical attention? I’m at the ER now because Iv been experiencing period like cramping since the weekend & nothing is helping but I’m still in the waiting area smh. I just want to know everything’s ok.

I thought they sent you to maternity triage at 15 and above.

Its 20 weeks n above cause before that theirs nothing they can do to save the baby I think it's pretty stupid.i have my son at 19 weeks n I feel it was cause this stupid law

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense, I mean, if your having early labor, they could attempt to stop the contractions and be successful.

I used to go to the er first and then if I needed an ultrasound then they would send me to maternity triage. But I also was high risk so idk if that made a difference? Hope everything is ok 🥺

Girl I would of said I got chest pain too 😂 get your ass back their faster. I hate how they don’t take anything serious!! Unless you got chest pain though most ppl in their probably got a cold and they’ll go before you smh 🤦♀️

Back in the summer my 9 yr old passed out and was having chest pains and we waited 3 hours to be seen. So chest pains don't always get seen faster especially if your heart rate is good

I just spent 7 hours at the ER on Tuesday and I had to walk out because there were only 2 ER doctors

@dope.ass.mom, the only reason I walked out was because the pain was getting so uncomfortable and all they gave me was Tylenol and it wasn’t doing anything
I went to my primary doctor the following day and she said everything was ok and that the pain could be from my uterus expanding
I still have the pain so now I have an appointment on Monday with my OB
I just want to make sure everything is ok with this little one
I guess after having a miscarriage you live with that fear that it can happen again

@queenbitch, I definitely feel that! I had a miscarriage a few years ago, i didn’t even want another baby after my son because of the paranoia I’d knew I’d have. But here I am... the fear is still in back of my head even being so far along now. But I wish you a happy & healthy 9 months ♥️

I had a miscarriage on March 2017 and by May 2017 I was expecting my rainbow baby
He’s now 20 months old
I honestly thought it was gonna take me a really long time to get pregnant since I had the IUD
But nope it took me 3 months
That fear never goes away
