I’m a bit confused
I see mommas that get ultrasound done as early as 5 weeks
My doctor didn’t want to do mine till I’m 8 weeks or more
Im taking a wild guess that not all clinics are the same

That’s what I’m thinking that not all doctors are the same
At 5 weeks you cant even really see anything.
Yeah I saw that on googled
I was expecting to see something
With my daughter I got my first ultrasound at 11 weeks, with my son at 7 weeks. There’s no reason for them to do it any earlier than 7 weeks unless they’re looking for something specific.
My doctor doesn’t even see you before 12 weeks and the only ultrasound is the anatomy.
That’s what confuses me at times
Some doctors do ultrasounds early and others don’t
For the baby I lost, I had an ultrasound early but they couldn’t see nothing at all so I had to go back at 7 weeks and I was finally able to see the baby.
For this baby, I didn’t have an ultrasound until 12 weeks.
With all pregnancies I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks including the one I lost at 12 weeks
Most doctors don’t do it till 8 weeks or more bc at 5weeks you may or may not see anything. Formation would have done took place further along.
I’ve googled ultrasounds at 5 weeks and all I see is a little circle
Yeah every docs different I got mine done at 6weeks but only because I was supposed to be above 8weeks with both pregnancy’s and they do ultrasound at 8+ weeks but I ovulated late with both babies soo I ended up only being 6 weeks wen I had my ultrasound done
That’s probably why they are making me wait

Depending on the circumstances. With my son I started bleeding at 5 weeks so they did an ultrasound to check on baby but no heart beat was found and then I had my 8 week ultrasound for the dating and check up. They just wanted to see if I had a sac or if I was further along then I thought at 5 weeks.

Now that I think about that did happen to me with my last 3 pregnancies
My 3rd pregnancy ended in miscarriage
When I was living in Los Angeles I would get an ultrasound as soon as 5 weeks but now that I moved to riverside they wait till your 8 weeks along
34 weeks and I’m over it 😒🙄
Are there any remedies to speed up dilation? I’m 36 weeks but I’m over being pregnant
Hi I’m 28 years old, first pregnancy I’m 8 weeks 3 days. Due date is 8th April 2019, I’m really nervous and would like to meet new people make new friends and get some advice, all this is new to me #myfirstpost
So I’m 21 weeks and I’m barley showing, compared to all my friends that are pregnant and around the same weeks I’m tiny and I’m starting to get concerned any other ladies still small?
Update : ISSA BUMP. 17 weeks tomorrow only like 3 more weeks and I’m halfway through 😱
my first I had a US at 8w, my second was 12w. I think it just depends on the doctor and clinic!
