My daughter has a temperature of 102 she's had a fever off and on for two days now and it just spiked. I gave her some tylenol so I'm hoping it drops her temperature if not it's off to ER and if it does but she still has a temperature in the morning im taking her in. I'm just super worried about it I don't think I'll be able to sleep. She hasn't had any other symptoms besides the fever. She's still eating and playing maybe an occasional cough but nothing near consistent. I don't know what's going on.

Is she happy?? I’d just keep her hydrated and call the pediatrician rather than go to the ER

She has been right now she's eating but still warm at 101.9 2 hours after medicine

Make an appt with her regular ped. A fever of 102 doesn’t warrant an ER visit. And it sounds like it’s either an ear infection or a UTI since there are no other symptoms.

We ended up taking her to the ER since her fever never went down with tylenol. They checked her for ear infection and UTI's and RSV and they all came back negative. They said it's most likely a cold or some kind of virus like that. So they said to give her infant motrin and tylenol for the fever and it should clear up in 2-3 days.
