So question about potty training, my three year old is in underwear...all day and night...he DOES NOT pee himself at all!! Butttt he still poops his pants so I got through two pairs of underwear a day with him currently...just curious if anyone’s kids went through this and possibly tips on how to get him to poop on the potty...we try positive reinforcements not negative and refuse to do negative...we offer rewards...stickers...candy...a BIG prize if he goes so many days in a row...like all the Pinterest tips...heck he is even dry all night and wakes up if he does have to go so I don’t get it 😭

My daughter was the same way. She slowly realized she shouldn’t poop in her undies. She really figured it out on her own I tried everything from candy to stickers to even change in a piggy bank she could spend at the end of the week.

@paigerue2013, That’s awesome! They grow up so fast. 😥 we still put a pull up on my daughter because some mornings she wakes up with a wet one. I got tired of cleaning poop, then she wondered what the stains were and insisted on throwing them away because they were dirty. 😂

that they do! This baby is my last and I’m so it ready for that!! Lol but my son has done that too so I bought brown underwear so he couldn’t say much about them 🤷🏼♀️😂

Sometimes it's harder to get them use to going poo on the potty just keep trying and he will eventually get it

My son is still struggling with pooping on the potty consistently. He does great for a day or two and then regresses for a few days. He knows what he’s doing because he runs and hides and poops in his underwear. Drives me crazy, but I’ve tried a lot of things and nothing sticks.

I was just coming on MomLife to write basically the same post. My son is great with pee in the potty all day. No pull ups except for bedtime. And he waits to poop in them. But he’ll also poop in his underwear at nap time too. I’m at a loss for what to do.
