Ugh. When does the “dinner fight” stage end?? No matter what I make Maddox fights it.
I try to be firm in that if you do t eat or at least try what I’ve made then to bad. If your hungry later you get your dinner warmed up. But he literally won’t eat. And then we’re up in the middle of the night with a hangry child.

When is his snack between lunch and dinner? This may sound nuts, but I swear my daughter eats a better dinner if she has a little snack around 4 or 4:30. Otherwise she gets so hungry and won't eat anything which sounds weird. So hungry she doesn't feel hungry.

lol I’m at a loss. I caved tonight and let him have a bagel with cream cheese and then he had two clementines and an apple. Usually I fight him on it but I just want a full nights sleep tonight without any 1am snack tantrums lol

maybe you just have to give him what he wants? I know your kid is older than mine and you probably have gone through all the stages lol but I always find that my son won't eat for stupid reasons like he wants a fork instead of a spoon or he wants a sip of my drink and not his, or he just doesn't like the food. That doesn't mean I'd give him junk, but just an alternative like you did.

never lol jk some days are ok but my 7 yr old would live off of pizza or pb and j sandwhiches if I let him lol
